MORE THAN A BRAND

To discover and appreciate what fashion means to you as a person or community is as fulfilling as having a place called home. This is precisely why a group of like-minded young Nigerian creatives set out to create a brand that is home to every young African creative seeking to find a community to exist in our society.
They ended up creating the brand Global Africans Limited. because they have always loved fashion, what it meant to them as a group, and loved seeing good outfits on people. They all shared admiration for three particular fashion giants namely Virgil Abloh, Kanye West, and Jerry Lorenzo, and watching them start their brands felt like an awakening. They set out to create a brand that resonated with every African which started with wanting to create a safe space for the average fashion enthusiast to express themselves but has become so much more thanks to the support of the Global Africans community”.

MORE THAN FASHION

In a conversation with David Wiggle CO Founder OF G.A.M.E Limited, he said “G.A.M.E isn’t just a clothing line but rather a growing community of creative youths”. This is in line with their slogan “More Than Average Futuristic Creativity” which is a way to debunk all the myths about the creativity of African youths and bring to light just how much progress has been made and is still being made in the hustle of young African creatives.
G.A.M.E is barely a year old and is already a vital player in Ghana’s creative fashion industry. This is impressive for a start-up but not surprising because it has a specific target audience who understands and acknowledges it as a brand that celebrates African uniqueness. Something very hard to find in this day and age. G.A.M.E is a brand that transcends trends, luxury, and status. It was made for the average person on the street but not limited to them.

G.A.M.E IS A COMMUNITY!

When asked where he sees the brand in the next 5 years he said “G.A.M.E should be accessible to every African youth in or outside the African continent and for the quote I AM G.A.M.E to be on the lips of everyone that matters. In terms of sales, the hope is to sell at least 20,000 pieces of G.A.M.E in the next 5 years”.
When asked what the success of G.A.M.E looks like to him he said “ Success in the short term will be developing a website where everyone can shop for G.A.M.E easily and having a pop-up store soon. In the long term, success to us will be becoming a brand that every creative and young African will be ecstatic to wear and having a flagship store where everyone in or outside the G.A.M.E community can walk into and be welcomed!”.
